One other possibility, the mail list is too long. Many ISPs limit the size
of a mail list. If it exceeds that length the error message you get back
doesn't always reflect the real reason. I have seen very bizarre error
messages that were due to overly long group lists. If yours is too long for
your ISP (you'll have to check with the ISP as to the max length they
allow), you could use Paul Berkawitz' Split Recipients script ( at
www.applescriptcentral.com ).
