I have a huge problem with entourage. When receivng mails with images
within the mail and I klick on the mail - the programme is no longer
responding. I get the spinning ball and a forced quit is the only
solution. This happens with both junk mails (I have asked entourage to
leave attachments on server) and my good mail. This is a huge problem
as I receive a rather large amount of messages with images. To solve
this I need to make a forced quit, and restart entourage. At the same
time is microsoft error reporting not respondin eiither and a forced
quit of this is the only solution.any suggestions?

I need to correct myself. the problem seems to be HTML messages.
Everytime I open a message wrtten in HTML format, the programme needs
to be forced to quit.

Drag Macintosh HD/Users/<Your
User>/Library/Preferences/com.apple.internetconfig.plist and
com.microsoft.explorer.plist to the Desktop. Re-launch Entourage and see if
it crashes when you open an HTML message. If it crashes, move the Internet
Preferences files back. If it works properly, you can trash the Internet
Preferences files.

I have tried this, and it does not help. It seems to me that a possible
solution is to turn off the "display complex HTML massages" option in
the preference panel. I think it is strange that the messages formated
with HTML still looks exactly the same in the preview pane when I have
turned off this in the preference panel. It seems to me that I can live
with this solution, even though I am not happy with is as it seems not
to be a final solution. something is not working, and I do not like it.
