see SUBJECT and THREAD-TOPIC with the same content. What is ti for? can
I disable it?

I assume you mean the Conversation header?

This is a new feature offering support in entourage for conversation headers
- an Exchange feature. They don't have much use outside of an exchange
environment.

The theory is that in an exchange environment threading can still continue
even if someone changes the subject of a thread part way through.

You can't disable it.
