When I'm in the view sorted by recency (most recent on top), can I
specify which message receives focus when I delete a message? The use
case is as follows:

Msg 3 (most recent)
Msg 2 (hi-lited)
Msg 1 (least recent)

When I'm on Msg 2 and delete the message, it current goes to Msg 3.
Can I make it go to Msg 1?

Thanks,
John

Try using these keyboard shortcuts documented in Entourage help:

OPTION+COMMAND (Apple)+[ Delete the current message and display the
previous message.

====
OPTION+Command (Apple)+] Delete the current message and display the next
message.

====
CTRL+OPTION+[ Delete the current message and display the previous unread
message.

====
CTRL+OPTION+] Delete the current message and display the next unread
Message.

These are documented here

If you want to be able to change the default behavior, be sure to send a
feature request directly to Microsoft.
