Is it possible to only install PowerPoint, Excel &amp; Word for Mac 2008 but keep the original Entourage 2004 server (from Office for Mac S&amp;T 2004)? I need Entourage but will settle for the 2004 version already installed on my computer. I am a teacher but there is no academic pricing for the full version that includes Entourage server 2008!<br>

Thanks

Just install the entire Office 2008. You don't have to open Entourage in 08.
We've been advised that removing an application can cause problems with
future updates.

You¹ll end up with an Office 2004 and Office 2008 in your root applications
folder.

It's OK to use the other applications at the same time. Many are doing this
with Word for VBA.

Each has it's own preferences in ~/Library/Preferences/Microsoft

I recommend installing all of Office 2008, but simply do not launch the new
Entourage. Not installing parts of Office can cause problems when you try to
update the suite in the future.
