Is there a way to do a contact search from the Mail window in Entourage?
I¹ve enjoyed that convenience in Outlook for many years and would like to be
able to do it in Entourage without having to always switch to the
³Contacts² window every time to do it. I already know you can open up two
windows, but obviously that isn¹t practical full time.

Thanks in advance.

Hi David!

In Entourage 2004 in any view you can type Cmd + F, select the "More
Options" button and select Contacts for your search.

To get to this window faster use Cmd + Opt + F.

The default item for searching depends on the window you're in at the
time. If viewing mail then "Messages" is selected by default. If viewing
your address book then "Contacts" is selected.

Hope this helps! bill
