When composing an e-mail, if I click on the selection arrow to the
right of the font color or background icon, Entourage immediately
quits. I'm running Entourage 11.2.4 on a MacBook Pro running Mac OS
10.4.6. This problem just appeared a couple of weeks ago, and existed
before and after I installed the 11.2.4 update. I've been using
Entourage trouble-free on this and other computers for years.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

This error was caused by Apple's update of quicktime to 7.1 - I believe the
more recent update to 7.1.1 fixes it.

Using Software Update, make sure that QuickTime is updated to the latest
version. Some earlier versions of QuickTime caused those menus to
malfunction.
