Can't see message and message list

I can't seem to figure out how how to see both the message text and=20
my list of messages in one window. The only way I can read the=20
message is to double click. In other programs, when you single click=20
you can see it below the large list. I assume Entourage can do this, =
but=20
I can't figure out how. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.
