Help please!

I have a couple of messages that have come down via Mac (IMAP) and
these now sit in my Entourage inbox. These messages are junk so I
marked them as such - nothing happens within Entourage. I try to delete
and again nothing happens, I also try "purge deleted" and *refresh
message list" - still nothing.

In desperation I log into my Mac mail account and the messages have
disappeared. Presumably the delete has worked on the server but not in
Entourage!

How can I get rid of these confounded messages.

Thanks
Colin

Ctrl-/Right-click the account name in the folder list and select 'Empty
Cache' from the contextual menu. That should do the job. Note that doing so
flushes Entourage's cache, which means that it will need to re-download
every message from the server. This leads to a loss of categories and links
("You replied to this message on..." messages and so on).
