Bursting email digests

Hi,

I have found the rule that lets me burst an email digest into its individual
email items as it is received and find it very useful.

Is it possible to use the burst rule on digests that have already been
downloaded?

Alternatively is there any software available, preferably for OS X, that
will burst digests that I have already received in Entourage.

1. set up a new mail rule with the criteria 'all messages', the action
'burst' and deselect the 'enabled' check box.

Now, select you previously received digests and right-click (cntl-click) on
them, then select 'apply rule' from the contextual menu and choose the rule
you just created

2. visit www.scriptbuilders.net where you will find some scripts that will
burst various type of digest

SomeDude's site has two good burst digest scripts. Don't think they are on
script builders.

Burst ONElist Digest

This script will burst non-standard ONElist mailing-list digests that come
from the ONElistmailing-list service. These people who run this mailing list
server are completely lame and follow no known standard message digest
format. Feel free to yell at them.

Burst Malformed Digest

This script will burst most other non-standard mailing-list digests (types
that OE 5 cannot burst on its own). The bursting code in this script has
been rewritten from scratch and is intended to address stack overflow errors
and some crashes that have been reported by users of the "Burst Non-RFC
Digest" script which I wrote earlier.
