Nobody seems to want to engage my questions lately. Did I do something
wrong? Do I have, like, e-mail halitosis or something?

Ask away, Sam. It just maybe that nobody has the answer ;)

Sam, have a look at this thread. Error: 1025 RFC-822 format
You think you've been ignored.

Hmmm. Strange. I don't understand what's going on, really.
I think it's a content issue rather a technical one; specifically, there's
something about the questions I ask that makes them not get answered.
Perhaps I have been posing questions no one cares to answer.
I like to think I've been polite, using proper nettiquette, but maybe I've
somehow offended the group and so my questions are no longer being answered.
Have I exceeded some kind of limit?

You are not being ignored. Which questions were not answered?

Save as Web Page by Sam

Sam
Wed Dec 03 16:56:46 CST 2003

I'm sorry to whine. I'm just not getting much newsgroup love right now and
it makes me vedy, vedy sad. ;-) (I'm half-serious here.)

My question dealt with the Save as Web Page function of the calendar. I've
observed a couple of annoyances:

1) Entourage rewrites all of the associated files every time, even graphics
that don't change;
2) It doesn't let you use the same name as previously and overwrite the
file(s) (e.g., "index.htm"). I end up having to delete the whole mess before
I can invoke Save as Web Page again, making updates a real chore.

I'm in the process of writing an AppleScript that will empty out my calendar
folder in advance of my invoking Save as Web Page within Entourage, and that
ought to reduce the number of keystrokes, but what a clumsy workflow!

Any reactions?

Hi Sam!

Hmm... Very strange.

I searched through this newsgroup (back to the beginning of October) and the
only messages I see from you are those in this thread.

How have you been posting and what have you been posting about? Also, in
what other groups have you been posting? Are you using any other names for
yourself?

Finally, are you verifying that your messages are indeed making it to the
newsgroups? Can you find any of yours here?

I see twelve messages from him since November, mostly under different
subject headings.

I rewrote my search to include header information and found several too now.
Seems like you've gotten several replies, Sam. d:-)
