Hi,
I have set up a few alias email addresses on my .mac account.
In Mail it was set up automaticly.
However, I am having no luck doing so in Entourage.
I have set up a POP account, no info. on receiving, and un-checked the
top box.
Still nothing.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Dorian

Hi Dorian!

I'm a fellow .Mac user and I use it's ability to create aliases too, but
I don't understand what you're trying to setup. The aliases point back
to your original .Mac account. They aren't full secondary email
accounts. Any message that you receive at alias1@.mac.com will be
privately redirected by .Mac back to youraccount@mac.com.

You can use rules to automatically move or sort your incoming messages
based on "Any To recipient".

For now, just look for your messages in your one .Mac account.

Hope this helps! bill

Exactly what WMS said and this mail will come in under your existing
Mac.com account, but be labeled to: your alias. I have several alias'
and that is the way it has worked for me.

There is no way to set up independent retrieval for each individual
alias. It just doesn't work that way.
