I can properly access the GAL in Entourage 2004, a great improvement indeed.
Much better that just having the Check name option. However, I'd like to
know if there is a way to have the GAL be the default address book thats
selected when clicking on the Address book icon in a new message (make it
the default in the drop-down menu that shows up) and also to have it
selected by default when clicking on the Addresss book icon at the top left
of the Entourage window.
Just wanna know if this can be changed as I couldn't find anything in the
accounts settings, preferences or even in the plist files.

Thanks
Frank

Sorry, there isn't a setting for that. We always use the contextually
appropriate address book, which is either the Contacts folder if it's an
Exchange account, or the Address Book if not.
