I've a problem with my grapchics card. I'm using Msi m635 notebook
with Turion ML 32 Processor.
Everything works fine until I install the ati catalyst software, then
a few strange things begin to happen.
1) when I close the lid of my laptop, the screen turns off and it
doesn't turn on again when I open the lid. I have to hold Power Button
for 5 seconds to turn off the computer, it doesn't respond to any
other ativities.
2) when I start the system on a battery (on both systems: XP or Vista
32 and 64 bit) the screen freezes. It only shows the logon screen.
When I enter the password to log in, I hear that I logged in but the
screen still shows only the logon screen.
3) the same situations happens when I unplug my computer from AC power
source. Windows halts and shows only the last frame that was
displayed.
I tried few versions of catalyst, but have still the same effect.
Now I'm using the newest version: 7-2_vista64_dd_ccc_enu_42852 and
equivalent version for windows xp.
I don't know what else can I do.
