Can I modify the GPD for a printer without resetting the computer? Can
a simple GPD directive such as '*MaxCopies 1' cause a printer to hang?
I am asking cause I added that simple directive to our LaserJet
printer GPD file and we are experiencing slight difficulties.

Yes, you can. Go to "c:\Windows\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3" directory.

You might need to stop and restart the spooler in order to have the changes
in the GPD take effect.
