Where did MSDN support for the XP ddk go to?
Granted I'm stil stumbling around trying to figure out a new system, but I
just can't find the ddk in the new docs?

Well the only supported DDK is the Windows Servier 2003 SP1 DDK which can
build all the way back to 2000. The XP DDK is obsolete, you should be using
the latest for the best tools, documentation and samples.

I never use the MSDN documentation. Perosnally I find it worthless since it
covers way too much. I use the DDK doc's directly since then when I can't
remember the actual function and have to search, I don't get 500 items for
doing web stuff and nothing for the kernel.

You can download the latest DDK with the docs at
http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/driver/wdf/KMDF_pkg.mspx

BTW, you can filter both the index and search results by category as long as
you are using a relatively recent version of the help system.

Yeah, and the indexing still shows the stuff greyed out, and the categories
for the most part are worthless. It is ironic that the NT 4.0 DDK help had
better search almost 10 years ago than we have now.

I agree that MSDN sucks. But until I can call down the hall to a collegue
for info about how to do xyz, or look in the source repository for examples
of how to do stuff I end up paying 1000.00/yr for this load of crap.

Now where is the DDK (of what ever ilk), in the MSDN?
