Hello

I am using a driver for IEEE1394 DCAM-compliant cameras (sources can be
downloaded from here http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~iwan/1394/downloads/index.html)
When hibernating with this driver loaded, I get a blue screen at resume,
with a NO_MORE_IRP_STACK_LOCATIONS message and a stop code of 0x00000035
The power management part of the driver is taken from the ieee1394
samples from the DDK, but apparently there is more to be done to make it
work...

Does anyone has an idea of how to solve this ? Or at least is there a
way to prevent system hibernation if this driver is loaded ?

Thanks in advance
Nicolas

Can you send a DMP file of the bugcheck? Can the system be hooked to a
debugger? If so, can you send the output from entering !analyze -v.

Can you try enabling driver driver verifier
(http://support.microsoft.com/kb/244617) and try setting the system to
hibernate again? It might provide more info that could help identify
what's happening.

I enabled driver verifier for this one and performed hibernation again
The resulting dmp file can be downloaded at
http://lyncee1.epfl.ch/~software/tmp/MEMORY.zip

When resuming the error now changes to PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA stop
code 0x50 ...

Is there any information exploitable in this ?
Best regards

Nicolas
