We have a smart card driver on our device that enables EAP SIM
authentication to take place.
However, when the PC is booted with the card in, Windows displays an
error message saying that the system cant log on using the smart card.
What Windows should do is find out if the smart card is a log in card
(ie, it has a username and password the system can use). If it isnt a
log in type card, Windows should just display the normal log in screen.
Btw, this also affects our devices that use a GSM SIM (UMTS
connection).
