Nice list you have there. "Programming the Microsoft Windows Driver
Model" (2nd Edition) by Walter Oney seems the best of all.

Now... may I add the most important one? It's:

=> The latest & greatest WDK Documentation.

(I learned this the hard way)

I forget an indirect but useful resource:

Intel Architecture Software Developers Manual Volume 3: System Programming

It can be downloaded from Intel. Google can find it easily.

I bought that book in 2004, and I took it with me last month when I
relocated from one country to another. The problem is, I forgot to take
the companion CD. Would anybody be so kind to make an ISO image
available for me to download anywhere on the net ?

Thanks,
Alex

GoodOne! here are few cyber coins of mine that I've gathered over the
time, mostly from MS system Journal Issues! Not sure if all these
following links work but you can search with description that is
present at the end of every link.

Enjoy!

Don

Thats a pretty good list of the "current" books. To that I would consider
adding:

Windows NT/2000 Native API Reference

Introduction to the Windows Driver Foundation Kernel Mode Driver Framework

The first of these is out of print and is about undocumented stuff, but it
can help when you are trying to have a clue what is going on. It should be
pointed out that at this point, it is sorely out of date for those idiots
who hook or even try to use some of the calls.

The second book is not out yet, this is the OSR book on KMDF. It is
promised soon, for some factor of soon. Knowing OSR it will be a good book
when it comes out.
