Is it possible to use the existing mirror drivers and have them give me
their screen data?

Thanks

Not generally, no. However, the mirror driver used in TightVNC is
available as a separate product for exactly this kind of purpose. It's
called DFMirage.

I am looking at that product, but I am concerned about the install and
if it will work on locked down machines.

Any thoughts there?

I do believe MS publishes an api and protocol for it's rdp system. It takes
a while to find it, and I don't quite know where it is. I was looking into
the same thing, but for my use, it would not have worked.

Also, I did notice that they wanted about 40K to use it. They give you some
time to look the code over in Redmond, then you give the bucks if you are
going to go that way.....

Probably a part of the antitrust thing.

You may do a search for RDP protocol or something like that. I just can't
remember the link or area of MS's website I found it.
