March 1, 2004 - PCAUSA has released the V5.5.17.58 (March, 2004) update to
the OIDScope user-mode NDIS query application. OIDScope is a Win32
application that provides a simple way for users to make NDIS queries for
information without the need for a companion NDIS protocol driver.
OIDScope is one of the components of the PCAUSA NDIS Tools, which are FREE
in executable form.
*** OIDScope only supports Windows NT 4.0 and higher platforms!!! ***
If you work with custom OIDs or 802.11 miniports, then you may have an
interest in upgrading to this new release. This release of OIDScope includes
these improvements:
* 802.11 Property Page and auto-updating BSSID list scan for Windows XP
and higher
* Custom OID Query (User entry of OID value)
* Support for Windows XP 64-Bit Edition (AMD64)
* Meaningful icons in adapter chooser list
* Better behavior when returning from standby/hibernation
* HTML Help file
* Various application improvements
