I've installed the 6000 DDK on two different machines now. Out of
historical habit, I have all of my DDKs installed into \DDK instead of
\WinDDK.

However, the installer still creates a directory called \WinDDK, and
populates it with one file, DDKVersion.xml.

That's a bug...

The trick is figuring out how to install to something other than the default
install path. I'm assuming you figured that out, Tim. :)

Yes, and you're right that it isn't immediately obvious. It's not exactly
hidden but it does take a little exploration.
