Hi Vinay,

I don't know if you're interested, but our DNE toolkit
(see www.deterministicnetworks.com/Products/dne.asp)
provides a cross platform framework for developing kernel-
level networking solutions. We supply a transparent
bridging sample with DNE that supports wirespeed
throughput and give you the option to inspect, modify,
insert, delete, or redirect packets. DNE runs on all
Windows platforms (from 95->W2K3), Linux, Solaris, HP-UX,
PocketPC, CE, and more, and a plugin written for one OS
family will run as-is in that family or with just a
recompile on other Operating Systems. Last and not
least, since your plugin runs under DNE, which is signed
by WHQL, you don't have to go through WHQL as you would
with an IM.

Let me know offline if you're interested.
