Hello,

I have a driver that I am attempting to create an installer for using DIFx.
The driver has passed WHQL certification but I have since updated it. My inf
file references a cat file named the same as my driver. This originally was
the cat file supplied from WHQL that I just resigned using my Authenticode
cert. I then tried to create a new cat file using makecat but I get the same
results. When trying to install I get an error on the inf stating "Error
code 0x57: The parameter is incorrect.) Searching MSDN and Google doesn't
come up with anything useful.

Anyone know what this is or what I might be doing wrong? Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

When you submit or resubmit a package, include a dummy (empty) .cat file.
It will be re-created from scratch.

Thanks Pavel. I am not resubmitting at this point though. I am just trying
to sign the package with my Authenticode cert rather than using a WHQL one
for now.
