Driver Certification

Could someone please tell me what are all the steps involved in Device Driver
certification. I am looking for a high level information to decide the
effort it takes to get the driver certified and also how much it costs.

The steps involved seem to be very clear. However the costs involved are not
clear. Any idea how much it may cost.

So keep looking. The costs are all there and if hardware is involved will
approach $3,000 US.
