    - Adding Users from trusted domain Our Company uses Dynamics CRM 3.0. We have two domains. First a Windows 2003 based domain (lets call it W2003DOM) and second a Windows 2000 domain(W2KDOM). Between both Domains exists a external, bidirectional trust. We have Sharepoint, Exchange and CRM running in the Windows 2003 Domain. Members of the Windows 2000 domain can access our Exchange (mapped at disabled accounts in W2003DOM) and Sharepoint without problems. When I try to create a new CRM user who exists in the W2KDOM using Deployment Manager , I can list all users of the Domain, chose one, give it a role and so on.     - Wierd CRM Problem I am running CRM 3.0 SBE on SBS 2003 Premium. I have 17 CRM CAL's and 10 Server CAL's. I have 3 names users setup in CRM. Everything worked perfect when I was the only one logging in doing the customizations. I gave another person access to the system for testing purposes. Since then I lose access intermittently. I access through IE 7 and the server comes back as cannot find server. If I access the crm server via IP (192.168.1.XXX:5555), it prompts me for the login. I enter the information and when the first window closes the second window never comes up. If I then go to http://crmserver:5555, I can access with no issue for about 30 minutes, but then for no apparent reason, no more access. I have the server here in my office so I can access any part of it I need to. I have checked the webserver logfiles and don't see anything strange. I checked the EventViewer and nothing funny there either. I am pulling my hair out trying to track this down. Hopefully someone has had a similar problem and can point me in the right direction.     - Duplicate Emails CRM users are receiving duplicated copies of outlook inbox email messages in their assigned folders. I suspect this has something to do with the CRM exchange router and the rules it has created. I have removed and re-applied the rule numerous times with no effect.... any ideas out there?     - Setting up services in CRM I am trying to setup a service in CRM whose required services are dynamic - meaning it is not pre-set to 1 - 20. The reason for this is if I go to set up a new activity and the service is set to Quantity 1 but I selct two people (in this case two engineers), it pops up an error. This is pretty irritating. If I set up the service to have two resources and select only one, I get the same irritating error. Bottom line, sometimes I only need one resource and other times I need more.     - Data Fields in e-mail templates? Hi, i'm currently writing an app in c# that uses the vsto classes and connects to my crm database in order to implement e-mail funcitonality for custom entities. ie, allowing me to attach and e-mails to my custom, consumer entity. i've come to a slight impasse however when dealing with templates. obviously, i need to incorporate crm templates into the funcitonality and that works fine until i have to interpret the data fields that get added to the template. the structure seems simple enough when the display field is on the view specified, like for instance "systemuser/name" and i can deal with that no problem, but i'm a bit confused as to how to interpret queries in the xsl when it uses a foreign key to another view, ie "incident/prioritycode/@name". since there is no name column on the incident view, i'm wondering how crm interprets this? it's easy enough to locate manually but i need to write code that can be intuitive to all the different structures. any help or a pointer in the right direction would be massively appreciated! nemanja Tag: CRM with Outlook 2007 Tag: 87833

    - Post uninstall AD Cleanup We lost our CRM 3.0 Server to a drive failure and chose not to recover it. I'm looking at AD to see what needs to be cleaned up.     - CRM list web part authentication question We have SharePoint 2007 and CRM 3.0 and would like to install the CRM list web part (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=BC9B3526-DECF-4057-A530-91840C0D5401&displaylang=en). The problem is that we have NTLM authentication setup and need to keep it that way and the CRM list web part needs to use Kerberos authentication. From what I have read is that you can only have one authentication method per zone. With this in mind I was wondering if it would be possible for me to create a new zone within SP and have it use Kerberos authentication. Iâ??d setup the CRM list web part within this zone and then create a link to it from our default web page. I know this would only work internally and that is fine.     - All e-mails forwarded to CRM queue as activities Hello everyone, I am having an odd issue with CRM, every e-mail sent from the Exchange server is forwarded to CRM to the accepted task queue. I just get an activity with "FW:OriginalTitle" where I can see the sender and not the content of the e-mail (thankfully). Has anyone else had this problem before?     - Workflow Monitor - unable to cancel or restart Paused workflow For some unknown reason, several workflows in various entites have become Paused and wouldn't restart (system crashes, restarts?). I have accessed from the Workflow Monitor and tried to Restart and Cancel - but the Workflow stays in a Paused state.     - MS CRM 3.0 + Active Directory Hi, My computer is a member of a domain. when I try to connect to MS CRM on my web browser client, it ask me username and password.When I write them , i cant connect to CRM.But , i write server admin user and password , I connect. Also, when i try to connect to Server with remote desktop, it accept admin user name and password, but doesnt accept my username and password and gice this error: "To log on to this remote computer you must be granted the allow log on through terminal services right. By default, members of the remote desktop group have this right. If you are not a member of remote desktop users group or another group that has this right, or if the remote desktop user group does not have this right, you must be granted this right manually."     - Attachments such as MS Word are not saved I am doing the following : 1) Attach a MS Word Document to a Note on any entity. 2) Open the note (via CRM) and make changes 3) Close and save changes to 'temp%testnote%testnote[2].doc 4) Reopen the word document through CRM But the changes made in (2) have not been saved!     - shippingmethodcode and other questions ok I can't belive I can't find an answer to this - either no one has ever changed it or it's so obvious I should just hang up my CRM boots now. On various pages eg invoice, there is a drop down that has shipping methods (DHL etc) Where do I change the values in that list?     - Athentification fails with error 400.1 when accessing Hi When i want to access the crm server with http://CRMSERVER:5555 or http://crmserver.mydomain.local:5555 the login form pops up but when i press OK nothing happens, when I do this a few times an authentification error apperas but when on the same machine i try to login http://192.18.1.10:5555 the login screen appears and i have to give the login creditials even if i'm logged on to the machine with the same account, so i enter mydomain\myname password and it works! When I'm on the CRMSERVER it self the passtrough authentification works, with IP address and DNS name. I'm using a Windows 2003 domain, with CRM 3 PRO (German) and SQL 2005 I have activated the [x] Delegation Controll Hostheader is not set, no specific IP address is assigned to the IIS so what can be wrong?     - Numeric empty fields (System Configuration) Hello, When installed CRM we got number configuration different from the one that we use in our systems. So, we tried changing that configuration but when we did it CRM just undo the change and got back to the wrong configuration. Looking at support.microsoft.com I found this article: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/921547/en-us. We applied the solution described there and we changed the number configuration successfully. However, after that change, we are unable to enter values in numeric fields on any crm form.     - Local Data synchronisation problem Hello, I have a strange problem when I try to syncronize Outlook and CRM using the local data option. The first time that I have syncronize Outlook and CRM everything work fine and no problem appear. The CRM Contact appear inside the Outlook contact. But don't ask me why, I have delete all contact inside my Outlook (but don't forget all contact are always inside the CRM). After this, I try to syncronize again Outlook and CRM but this time no contact appear inside the Outlook. Someone have an idea how can I fix this ? Has anyone had this issue and knows of a resolve to keep Sync Issues from
reporting. The errors are so constant they eventually fill up the end users
mailbox. I am asking this in CRM forum because those without CRM are not
reporting a problem.
