Our network staff accidentally deleted a network account of a CRM 1.2 user
from AD. I have installed the hot fix KB 904435 (CRM Update Rollup 2) on the
server but still got an error when trying to re-assign records to an existing
user.

Has anyone ever run into this problem?

Tuan,

KB 892550 dealt with this issue which they included in KB 904435. There
was a registry fix that needed to be added to allow the override but
the details for the fixed seem to have been removed from the KB
article. Try KB 835319 or do a search for IgnoreSDUserError on the
knowledge base.
