Hey bb, can you tell me what you were doing when you got this error message?
Were you trying to deploy a user?

Hi bb, I want to be sure I have this correct. You are not able to deploy a
user via the CRM web-interface, but you ARE through the deployment manager
(sounds like 3.0...

When you do use the deployment manager, you are successful, and add a role,
but when you change user to disabled you get errors... Can you please
clarify? I'm wondering about licensing - if you have enough licenses, and
also if the active directory account for the user is in good condition, and
in a trusted OU.

If you can give any more clarification, please do.

Re: crm 3.0 add user from AD error: 0x80041D2C by Vouy

I had the same error message when I tried to add a user through CRM 3.0 web
interface. And when I tried to add the user through Deployment Manager, I get
an error saying the user already exists. But, I solved the problem...

I check my Disabled users list in the Web Interface and found one user who
matched the login name, but not the First and Last Name and email address.
Somehow, the First Name, Last Name and Email address got changed and the
account disabled. I re-enabled the account, corrected the information, and
the user was now able to log into CRM without a problem.

Hope this helps (others). Thanks.
