    - Customization import - no errors but a few anomalies. I have 2 versions of crm 4.0 From version A, I have exported all customizations. I them uploaded and imported the customizations into version B. I now have a few anomalies... 1) When creating a workflow query, the Opportunity>Status Reason value has missing values. When i check the customized attribute, the values are correct, but they do no appear in the value list in the workflow query. 2) the Opportunity form was altered to show the Status and Status reason fields. The default form shows, not the customized form. Any ideas? I need to iron these issues out as i will be building CRM on a testing server before exporting customizations to another box.     - Outlook Client Cannot Connect to Server (CRM 3.0) Hi, I'm trying to use the off-line client for Outlook with out CRM 3.0 system and I keep getting the following messages "There is a problem communicating with the Microsoft CRM server. The server might be unavailable. Try again later. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator" followed by "An error occurred loading Microsoft CRM functionality. Try restarting Microsoft Outlook. Contact your system administrator if errors persist." Well I've tied my Sys Admin and he's at a loss. :-( I can access the system via the web interface and everyone else in our company seems to be able to get it to work fine so I'm wondering if it's something on my end.     - Export Report to PDF Hi We have created a custom report in Visual Studio. We inserted with details of service activities, our company logo and the report displays the correct data when we view the report in CRM. However if we export to PDF an additional page is present. Our logo appears on the first page, the first table on the second page and then a blank page therefater between each actual page which shows report details. Does anyone have an idea as to why this could be occurring? This is the last problem I am having and I would really like to resolve. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.     - moving record in microsoft crm 3.0 Hi everybody, I have created one button on toolbar of an custom entity form(record of an entity).If i click that button it will show me a dialog box with ok and cancel buttons then if i press ok the record will be moved to another custom entity.In the meanwhile the record should not be present in the first custom entity after pressing of ok button in dialog box.     - cannot reassign record to other user Dear all, 5 person leave our company. I want to disable their user but before that i need to reassign their records first. The first attempt works fine. But the next 3 account raise error message everytime i run reassign records. So there are only 2 account from 5 account which can run reassign record successfully. Do you know what it might be wrong?     - Outlook Contacts synchronization Hi Is it possible to change the default mapping of the CRM 3.0 Contact fields to the fields in Outlook Contacts. Currently the CRM 3.0 address1_line1 field maps to the Business Address in Outlook 2003 contacts. I want to change it so the address2_line1 field maps to the Business Address. I have stopped and started the rule, restarted CRM bulk email service and tried duplicating the rule and none of this has helped. I have also run a platform trace and cannot see any obvious errors when re creating the problem. The rule was running fine a month ago. The other rules that send email seem to be working fine.     - Delete Address Privilege Greetings. We're running MS CRM 3.0 and are trying to figure out how to configure privileges on the Address entity. It would be nice if we could deactivate an address, but that doesn't appear to be an option. Absent that, deleting an address would suffice. The only problem is that there doesn't appear to be that level of granularity for applying privileges. There is no option for Address in the Customize Roles pages. I would imagine that granting the privilege for deleting Accounts would get the users this but that is not a good thing. Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks. Dale.     - Custom Report Hi I am in the process of creating a custom report in Visual Studio. We are using CRM 4.0 and I chose not to use the report wizard as we require a more complex report. I have managed to create a simple report with our company logo and a table with details from the case entity. We need to create a service activity report which shows all the cases created for a specific customer during a specific time period. I have managed to make the report prefilterable and using the filter we can select the customer and the report will display a summary of each case logged for the customer. I now need to also insert an additional table which shows details of specific service activities created for the case. We want to only show this table when the case has been created for maintenance. I have managed to join the tables and create the maintenance task table. I need to find out if it is possible only to show this table for specific cases. The table needs to visible below each case summary table. I would like to also include a heading for the report which shows the customer name which is indicated in the filter. I tried to insert the field for customer name however it did not return any data. Is it possible to add a default filter? Thanks for any help.     - sync crm and outlook contacts Hey All. I had an oversight when I installed the crm outlook client this week. I neglected to uncheck the syncronize contacts with outlook. Now a few people have over a thousand contacts in outllook that came in from crm. The big problem is that they also have a windows mobile phone so their phones are running terribly. 1. can I delete the contacts from outlook with out having them be deleted from crm? 2. The issue is that the management email is viewable by csr's if they choose email and all email in their activities page.     - CRM v4 - remove duplicates from marketing list I have a marketing list that contains more than one person from a company (for some companies). I want to be able to remove the duplicates based on title. Example: I want to be able to filter the list so if there is a CIO, CFO and CEO I want the CIO and remove the CFO and CEO. If no CIO then keep the CFO and remove the CEO. If no CIO or CFO then keep the CEO. The key is I want the list to have one person per company but not exclude any companies.     - CRM 3.0 Data Migration Framework I am having a great deal of trouble using the DMF. At this point I am only trying to migrate my "Accounts" into CRM. I populdate the CDF with my accounts and make sure that I also populate it with the Owner Name. At this point I just want basic information, account name along with an address. I run the cleansing step and map the owner however when I run the migration it won't migrate the data.     - CRM 3 - User Transfered All Cases to Own Name - Need to Revert We had a user that left the company. Another user transfered all of his cases (resolved / active) to his name. He some how reassigned all the resolved and active cases in the DB to his own name. Is there a transaction table for changes to cases? Or a way that we can roll back the transfers?     - CRM Server is unavailable issue When I do a check on the server: 1. IIS is running but MS CRM is unavailable. 2. Related Web applications are running. Problem arises when I access CRM application or it CRM Web Service. Both of these become unavailable. Then I restart the server to make it available again..     - CRM 4.0 can not go online - unknown error Whenever we click on the "Go online" button in Outlook, we receive this message "An unknown error has occurred. Retry the action. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator". We've tried to reconfigure the CRM through the "Configuration Wizard", it would force CRM to online status, but if we go offline and go online again, we have same error. We have thought it is something to do with the VPN setting as all of our sales people work remotelly but now it happens to people in the office too.     - Workflow invoked from the System Note Entity Hi, I have a custom attribute in the Opportunity entity called "Last Note Created". I have a workflow on the system entity "Note" that updates the attribute above in the parent Opportunity of the note. (This is referenced as "Regarding (Opportunity)" when selecting from the available records to update in the Workflow screen).     - Quotas - unable to set We are having problem with setting the quotas for users in MS CRM 4.0. We get error unsufficient priviledges, but the user has all the priviledges assigned.     - Shared template I have created a template in Word (xml) and attached this to a Mail Merge Template in CRM 4. I don't want to show this template to the organisation just yet so I've shared it with another user and given them read rights. However, whenever the user goes to view the mail merge template it's not shown. I've added Create, Assign, etc rights against the shared template but this makes no differrence. We are running into the "Unique constraints are not consistent with those in
the CRM 3.0 unique constraints. That's followed by "The stored procedures in
the CRM database are not consistent '''''
Then we're getting the "Detected customizations that have not been published"

Not the exact verbiage but these are coming during the Upgrade Review of the
CRM Database. The log file shows no tables listed for the constraints error
section but does list three of the existing stored procedures as issues.

Any thoughts?
