Hi,
I think you'r right. It's not possible to change the subject line, which in
many cases, has been altered numerous times during an email conversation. I
guess it's done this way for security reasons, i.e. in this way your email
archive can't be changed at all. This would probably come in handy in case of
some legal investigation by authorities or similar.
It would, however, be nice to have a second subject line that default would
be identical with the original one, but still could be changed if needed.
This second subject line should then be visible when looking up the history
for any contact or account.
In the same way it would be nice to have an alternative date field in cases
where a minute of meeting is made weeks after the meeting itself. In that way
you can track emails with attached minutes of meeting to the very date of the
meeting itself.
