It should be possible to click on an e-mail adress to create a new e-mail
message.

In the "contacts" windows there is an "e-mail" field. If there is written
something e.g. "dan@microsoft.dk" and it is both underlined and blue, then it
normally means that its possible to CLICK ON IT.. to activate the system to
create a new email.. This is what is "standard" procedure in Windows-programs
and on the internet.

SO... Why is that not possible in MS CRM?

If its not what was intended, I dont understand why You make it underlined &
blue...

Agreed. For a workaround look at
http://www.stunnware.com/crm2/topic.aspx?id=JS4. Search for "Creating a new
email when double-clicking a standard text field".

Interesting. But when you use this code, your new message does not have the
CRM button to "Track in CRM". So now you will not have this message in CRM
:(
