I think we leaped into something that we weren't expecting as far as total
investment to fully-customize and launch CRM 3.0. We're considering putting
the project on hold indefinitely but have 10 licenses (3 yr CALs) and are
wondering if we can resale those licenses and if so, how would we go about
doing it.

I think CRM is wonderful, we just got the cart a little ahead of the horse
on this one.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Rex

As far as I know CRM licenses are non transferable.

Hmmm... we have a 3 year CAL, but only paid the first year. Am I obligated to
pay for the 2nd and 3rd year? I never signed a contract of any kind or an
agreement, so I would assume not. If I could at least do this, would minimize
the loss.

Thanks again for your time, Simon (and others)

Are you on Open licensing or is it just the maintenance you are refering to?
Maintenance is optional for future years.

I believe it is just Open Licensing.
