I recently installed CRM Server 1.2 and all went well. It said it was
successfully installed. But the web stuff has broken all my web sites.

After the initial install I added the Microsoft CRM Accounts to Pre-Windows
2000 Compatible Access Group.

The next step said to Change the Crystal Enterprise Administrator Password
this returns an error of Unable to change password. Error returned is : This
is an unexpeted token. The expected token is 'QUOTE'. Line 3, position 18.

Any idea why crm install would make all my websites quit working?

I am logged in as the domain administrator which I installed it as and the
server is fully patched...

Hi,

Were the websites running on the same server using port 80? Only 1 website
can be running under port 80 without using any host headers. So you'll need
to change the ports for those websites or CRM or use host headers.

I hope this helps,

there were multiple sites like the MOM operations manager web console and the
administration web site. On different ports... It is just asp that is not
working... I created a new test site and put an index.htm file in it and it
works fine.

It happend when I installed CRM and I remember something about what
permissions for what user to install the site as and I just use the domain
administrator account... It must be a permissions issue but I dont have a
clue how to check.

Could you run "aspnet_regiis.exe -i" in the .net framework directory
(v1.1xxx). This will reinstall aspnet in IIS. Maybe this will help.

No luck, do you know of any way to just reinstall the crm web stuff and/or
the administration website?

Thanks for your help and responses... I was able to get all websites working
again by following the workaround in this Microsoft link:
