Hello,

on our notebooks we use the Outlook for Sales laptop client, so we can use
CRM without connection to our server.

So far we connected the notebooks to the LAN in which the server is located
to synchronize the notebook with the server. Last week we opened an office
which is connected to the server LAN through a VPN-tunnel through the
internet. Is it still possible to synchronize the client over this slow
connection or do I need have a fast LAN-connection?

And an additional question: is there a way to configure which items to
replicate to the notebook or is the whole CRM-database replicated to the
notebook?

Thank you!
Rainer

If you can open a VPN connection to your company network you will be able to
sync data. The sync process in CRM 3.0 is far faster than 1.2
