Hi,

I have tried adding an existing contact to an account -
using the contacts list part of the account screen rather
than the primary contact (which does allow a contact
lookup). Is there any way to lookup an existing contact
to add them to this list?

Thanks,
Michael

you can go into the contact and set the parent account field.

Thanks for your reply. I perhaps was not clear enough
about what I want to achieve.

I would like the ability to have multiple parent accounts
for a contact, and to be able to add existing contacts to
the contacts list in the accounts screen.

A contact may work for more than one company, but it is
undesirable to have to maintain multiple instances of
their contact details.

When ordering I would expect to be able to specify both
the contact and the account, rather than a customer which
can be one or the other.

Regards,
Michael

CRM out of the box does not support many to many relationships between
contacts and accounts. There are ISV products that do support rich
relations, including Powertrak Core from www.axonom.com
