    - Adjusting View Column Width Quick question, hopefully there is an easy answer. It often seems that when viewing opportunities, the column with for opportunity name is too small.     - The server localhost is not responding Need help repair crm install. I had a working CRM and problems began to occur after I tryied deleting a user from crm within web client. I deleted a the user in active directory then attemped in crm but it would not work. I know that was the wrong way to do it. No I am having problems logging in to crm with any user even the admin. When I go into deployment manager to check valid users I get local host is not reponding please contact administrator. If I try from web client the page comes up with error please contact admin. When I go to open up the workflow monitor or manager after a fresh install it says: "you do not have sufficient privileges to run the Microsoft CRM workflow monitor" How can I access these two features? I added the computer (which is also the SQL server) to the Windows Pre-compatability group, but I didn't see any other advice on what rights had to be assigned.     - Register crmisapi.dll failed Hi, I'm having a few problems with CRM email. I have installed the router on our Exchange 2000 server which is also running OWA on port 85. I have created a new website for CRM using port 80. I type in the address to the srf file on the exchange server in Internet explorer on the CRM server and get page not displayed. I have followed the steps defined in http://groups.google.com/groups?q=exchange+email+router&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&selm=O3puCy2vDHA.2372%40TK2MSFTNGP09.phx.gbl&rnum=1 but step 9 suggests I should reregister the CRMISAPI.DLL which fails with the message "DllRegisterServer in crmisapi.dll failed. Return code was:0x80004005". Currently when I try to send email from CRM I get "Unexpected Error" Try again/Go Back. Any ideas?     - CRM doesn't install correctly... I have been trying to install the Microsoft CRM 1.2 and after about 4 different times I'm almost ready to give up. Every time it installs, there is no way to access the workflow monitor or manager. It will give me the message "The server is not responding. This might happen if it is currently unavailable..." When I open the crystal enterprise there is a service in red - the WinHTTP proxy auto-discovery. I'm not sure if that is what is causing all of the problems, but that service has never started in every install. If I try to start it through the services snap-in it will say "The account specified for the service is different from the account specified for other services running in the same process". However, they're all starting and running under the same account. How can I get all the services to start and access to the workflow monitor/manger?     - Custom Forms Hi All, When customizing a form in CRM 1.2 I cant find the way to edit the part of the forms that appear when you save a newly opened case. ie. When you save a new case it goes from having just the "information" button on the left hand side to having the activites and notes buttons. I'd like to be able to customise those areas.     - How to restore data from old sql on a clean install of CRM I've locked myself out of my orginal install of CRM instead of trying to fix the problem I made a clean install of my server and CRM. Now when I restore the MSCRM, Metabase, and MSCRMDistribution I get locked out the server because users do not exsist.     - "Method not allowed" in Outlook Client Hello, Im trying to make an "add on" for MSCRM 1.2, that should work on an Outlook Client while offline. I try to use Microsoft.CRM.Platform.Proxy.BizUser. It doesn't matter what I try, i get the error "Method not allowed" when I try to ask "objBizUser.WhoAmI". When BizUser.url shows the CRM server, it works. For offline I try to use the services from "http://localhost:2525/mscrmservices". I dont't know how can I see the Address for ".srf" files on the client. It works when I use Microsoft.CRM.Platform.COMProxy, but I think this way is not supported. Does anybody know what can I do?     - CRM and Crystal Reports We have a production environment and a development environment on different servers. we restored the production databases to our development environment. After doing this our Crystal Reports does not work gives the error "Crystal Reports Logon Error - Please verify that you have enought Crystal Licenses". I'm pretty positive it has to do with the fact that the Prod env and dev env are on different servers and since we restored the dev database directly from production it is not looking for Crystal Reports in the right spot.     - Adding a custom field to the Orders Form I'm trying to have a custom field labeled "Client" to appear in the Orders Form. 1. I add the field "CFSClient" through the Schema Manager in the Deployment Manager. 2. I was able to go to Settings | System Customization | Orders | Customize Form | All Orders and add the custom field I created. 3. After saving the changes, the "Client" field I created does not appear when I create a new Sales Order. I mean that they put the same word which exists in articles, one sees the search results and the other gets no results. Have you any idea how can I fix this. I recently changed the MSSQLServer and SQLServerAgent services to start using a Domain\User. I was able to get the services started and all other programs worked well except for CRM. We were no longer able to get to the CRM Website, and the CRM Security Service would not start. As soon as I set the SQL Services to start using the localsystem account again, everything began working fine.     - User Deleted in AD, can CRM licence be retrived? Hello all, I've made a mistake and deleted a user in AD before removing their licence in MS CRM. The user has no records associated with their account. I want to retrieve their MS CRM licence but of course I get an error to the effect that. The selected object could not be found in both MS CRM and AD. What is the situation....is there a workaround?     - CRM - Contact Notes My managers often keep seperate notes about a contact. Because they all have independant relationships with the same contact they wish to keep their notes about the contact seperate and private. Their current way of doing this is for each manager to create a seperate contact record that is owned by them - thus the notes about the contact remain priviate.     - CRM router / email problems When we try to send an email to a contact from the CRM system, we get an error saying the email cannot be sent ("An Error has occurred. For more information, contact you system administrator). . Fromn the web version, I am able to get this code from the web dialog that pops up: http://crm/_common/error/errorhandler.aspx?errNum=0x80040216 The problem occurs in Outllok and via the web interface. I installed the Exchange bridge, but don't see (or understand) how it is binding the CRM server to exchange and what transport it uses to send the email. I looked in logs on both machines and can't see any failures in the event viewer. I assume I don't have the router/bridge set up correctly or that there is some permissions problem. I have spent a few weeks trying to find info out on this, and my next stop is to try and find a MS CRM consultant. Thanks for any help.
