When I create and send a CRM email using the Outlook
client, the email is put into the deleted items folder and
not the sent items folder. Has anyone seen this before?

That's actually the way SFO client works. Email sent doesn't go to the sent
items folder. To verify that an email has been sent, you have to look at the
history tab in the activities view.

That's something that's exprected to change in v2.0...
