In all the views, there is a first page, previous page and next page. It
should also have a last page to allow user to navigate to the last page and
not clicking the next page multiple time to go to the last page

You can simply click on the column header to change the sort order, bringing
you directly to the last page.

That may do the trick, but most of the time, we would want to know the total
number of records.
