Firstly check that you are using a professional license as workflow manager is not available with a standard license

Secondly try looking at the following hotfix

https://mbs.microsoft.com/customersource/support/downloads/hotfixes/tk29313hotfix.ht

If the error persists after applying the TK 29313 hotfix, this behavior can occur because the files that are to be updated are not installed.

Microsoft.Crm.WorkflowEditor.exe, Microsoft.Crm.WorkflowLibrary.dll, and Microsoft.Crm.WorkflowMonitor.exe version should be 1.0.3017.2 as opposed to 1.0.3017.0

To resolve this behavio

1. Click Start, Ru

2. In the Open box Enter cmd, click O

3. Change to the directory where you wish to extract the updated files

4. At the command prompt enter CRM1.0-TK29313-Server-Windows2000.exe /

5. Confirm the directory where the files are to be extracted to and click O

6. At the command prompt enter exi

7. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, and then point to Windows Explore

8. Navigate to the folder where the files were extracted in step

9. Copy Microsoft.Crm.WorkflowEditor.exe, Microsoft.Crm.WorkflowLibrary.dll, and Microsoft.Crm.WorkflowMonitor.ex

10. Navigate to C: \Programs Files\Microsoft CRM\Tool
11. Paste the copied file in the folde

Thanks for the advice - unfortunately the hotfix relates
to CRM v 1.0 and Windows 2000 I am running CRM v 1.2 on
Windows Server 2003 - or does that not matter??

regards

Follow it and see what happens. Alot of the information crosses over.

It does so much so that I notice Microsoft took offline the Installing CRM
on Windows 2003 and only left the Windows 2000 one. Luckily I synced it
offline! heh but I guess the items are so close..
