The patch is an update to a DLL that is needed for security. of course now I'm
second guessing myself. Was it CRM on a 2000 server with AD on a 2003 server or
vice versa that requires the patch...I am pretty sure it's CRM On a 2003 server
with AD on 2000 that requires it.
Regardless, what I would recommend is installing the app, then if there are
problems related to the security service open a support ticket. They will be
able to provide the patch that you will need.
