We are tryhing to add selected custom fields to existing crystal reports on
CRM Version 1.2.

We are running Crystal Reports Developer Edition 9.2.2+. Any changes we make
to existing rpoerts data, structure, formula, etc work fine.

The problem is we can not verify the database in order to grab our custom
fields.

"Failed to load database information". Can we not use the Developer Crystal
Version to add custom fields ?

9.2.2+ ???

can you go to database verify database location and make sure the location
says SSO rather than a server name

Hey John,

Crystal Developer Version 9.2.2.693.

SSO is indeed coming up when I set the datasource location:
SSO
- account
- opportunity
- etc
and I can log on via APS, open, edit and save the reports remotely on the
CRM server via crystal fine.
The full error message I get when attempting to verify the database is:
Crystal Reports
Failed to load database information.
Details: The database DLL 'crdb_mscrm.dll' could not be found.

Any ideas ?

this may be as simple as the wrong dll. If you contact businessobjects.com
they will send out a 9.2.2 version or at least verify whether your version
should work with mscrm

you also might want to load the crystal addon onto another workstation and
see if you have the same issue
