User Manager Problem

Hello all,

I have a problem attempting to create a user. I get the following error

"User 1 ( Timothy Cocaro ) failed: Application Error (8004022c) - SOAP
Server Application Faulted"

I have read the other threads relating to this which suggest that I should
add users through the crm_web which I have and works fine. However I want to
know why "User Manager" doesnt work because I feel the same issue is
affecting the import of the XML through the "configuration wizard" I have
found a website describing this problem
(http://ts2blogs.com/blogs/larrylentz/archive/2005/11/30/462.aspx) but is
light on detail regarding how he fixed it. In short he once again mentiones
priveleges/administrator.

Can someone please help me because this application lacks any real guides
and is simply a collection of hodge podge documentations.

Are you using version 1.2 or 3.0? You might want to open a support request
with Microsoft Dynamics support (or have your implementer do this for you).

Hi Guys

I faced a similar error message when creating a User in CRM 3.0. This
is what the error message said when I tried to create a user from
Deployment Manager...

"User 1 (USERNAME) failed: Application Error (80048015) - SOAP
Server Application Faulted".

Tried to look for a possible solution but couldn't find one anywhere...

Any ideas?

This is exactly the same problem I am getting.
