Hi
I'm customizing and creating new reports that I plan to deploy into the CRM
system. My problem is that I'm unable to logon to the APS as administrator
as the system does not accept the default blank password( can't even change
it in the CrystalAdmin.exe, due to incorrect password!! which to my best
knowledge, hasn't been changed ).
Unable to reset the administrator password and the system not recognizing
any other users I can't save my reports to the CRM folders.

Is there any way to reset the administrator password without current
password or does anyone know how to create new users to logon to the APS?

What message does it give you. You cannot reset the password without
rebuilding the crystal databases and for that you need a tool from
Microsoft.

Hi John

When I try to reset the password I get the message: "Unable to change
password. Error returned is: Incorrect password" which is consistent with
the message I get trying to logon to the APS: "Incorrect password".

What tool do I need and how can I get hold of it.

Is "administrator" the only user in the crystal database??

Arni

The administrator for crystal reports is different from administrator in
CRM. You need to contact MBS support to get a tool to help you troublseshoot
this issue.
