    - CRM Demo Machines Hi, We are looking into methods of demonstrating MS CRM Software to clients. The dem machine will need to have SQL, Exchange, AD and CRM on it, possibly running on several Virtual PC images. The machine may also be required to dem Business Portal as well, although probably not at the same time. So we are going to need a powerful, well spec'ed machine. It will need to be portable so that the sales boys can go mobile with it. However, notebooks do not seem to be powerful enough to give reasonable performance. The last thing the sales boys want is to have to apologise for performance during a dem. Makes the software harder to sell! So we need a powerful spec in a portable box. But it occurs to us that we are not the only people in the world with this conundrum. Can anyone advise on a reasonable spec for the dem machine, and give insights into ways that they do their demonstrations of CRM?     - Just a simple form change I made a very simple form page: In Settings -> System Customization -> Cases, I selected teh "Customize Form" link to make changes to the "out of the box" forms that ship with CRM. For this first attempt, I simply moved the "Case Type" and "Priority" fields from the "Details" tab up to the first "General" tab. With this change, my users can enter all the crucial details on the first screen. When I click Preview -> Create Form ... my changes look great. But when I make new CRM tickets, my changes aren't there. I've reset the IIRS, I've deleted cookies and history on my local web browser (have no idea if that helps, but was desperate).     - Weird Spacing Problem I have two users that when they type an email in CRM and then click Save, it adds about 15 to 20 line spaces at the top of the document. To test, I used the same Contact, clicked email, then Save and it didn't do it for me. But then I had him go in to that Contact and open the email I had just created and it immediately added 15-20 lines at the top (that he can't get rid of). If he sends the email it leaves the lines and appears like it's a big, blank email. Anyone seen anything like this? These queues work fine except that some messages don't make it into the CRM (they are in the mailbox itself). What's the real significance of the Topic field? What is it a mandatory
field? What happens if I delete it, or make it user-optional?

The Topic field is the subject who identify a Lead or Oportunity (e.g:
Topic: The X company want install a crm).
Mandatory fields are comercial recomendation who are required to the well
functioning of the comercial process. If in your company this field is not
necessary you can change it to a "no restriction" field or remove it (This
