Hi,

When a new Activity has been created in the CRM ie a task, should it not
appear in the Tasks of the outlook a/c as well? And vice versa?

Or does the Outlook Client need to be installed in order for this to happen?

Regards

Steve

Hi Steve,

When you create a task in CRM, you can sync the task item into your Outlook
task.

When you create a task in Outlook, you need to install the Microsoft CRM for
Outlook client so that you can track your Outlook item into Microsoft CRM.

Hi Benjamin,

Many thanks for your response.

Just to confirm your answer:

If I do not install the CRM Outlook Client software, any tasks created in
the CRM via the web interface should should show up in Outlook for the user
the task is assigned to.

Thanks

Steve
