I have a CRM 3.0 installation with rollup #2 applied and I have a remote user
with the laptop client installed that is experiencing a difference with what
data he sees online versus online. for example, looking at the activity
history for a given account, while online, he sees a total of 10 entries and
while offline only sees 6. I have checked and he obviously has ownership of
the account as well as the activites and searched Microsoft's hotfix page for
possible solutions and haven't found any as of yet.

Any ideas?

Try checking the Local Data for the user Outlook Client. If that doesn't work.

Try installing CRM Outlook Client on a baseline PC using the same user login
profile, and check it is ok or same.

Good luck.

Thanks for the reply Frank. I didn't realize it was possible to have the
Outlook client installed for the same user on two machines at the same time?
It there a trick to allow this?

Should be able to just install another CRM Laptop Outlook Client on another
PC login with the same user profile. The only thing is that it only can have
one Synchronizing Client per profile under the CRM Outlook Client Option area.
