The Settings option in the web Browser client is missing on one machine but
not on others.

I deleted the cookies and restarted the browser and the Setting Button
appears.

Does anyone have a suggestion for how to correct the problem without
deleting all cookies?

Hi Mark,
I have noticed this too. It is very frustrating. I have read a post that
says that this is a conflict between the web client and the outlook client.
I think that the outlook client creates the cookie so that settings does not
appear in the web client and not the outlook client. Supposedly this would
confuse the users. I think they should fix this with a patch or something.
In the mean time I am trying to find a way to block the cookie from being
created. Let me know if you find something out.

Unfortunately, this is "be design" and I doubt there will be a patch. If
you use a differnt DNS name when accessing the web client, this will not
happen.

I believe there is a known issue when the Outlook Client is opened is stops
display of the Settings button in the browser client. Try closing Outlook,
close and re-open browser and setting may re-appear
