    - An error occurred during pricing of a detail line item Tried to create a quote in which I added three products. When I hit recalculate I get an error on the top of the screen which reads 'An error occurred during pricing of a detail line item'. Any ideas.     - 'In the Next 7 Days' View Problem I have noticed recently, on two seperate CRM installations, that Opportunity Views with a filter on a date field using the conditions 'In the next 7 days' or 'In the last 7 days' no longer work. 'In the next 7 days' seems to return all dates in the future except those that are actually in the next 7 days! 'In the last 7 days' is so erratic that I haven't been able to figure out what it is doing. On both CRM servers these Views have been working for months without changes being made to them.     - Problem with product customisation I really need to have suuplie name in the main list of products but for some reason its doesnt appear in the allowable options with all the other fields you can add. I really need this to be there. I know it can be added to the drop down for the product but it really doesn't suit our business to have to click on the product everytime we want to see who the supplier is. I have following OS: CRM 1.2 & IIS application server (Windows Server 2003), SqlServer 2000, SP3 (Windows Server 2003) Everything works OK before I run following updates/hotfixes from Windows Update -site to both servers. First I run updates to DB-server following order: KB890175,KB871250,KB885835,KB885836 Next I run updates to CRM-application server following order: KB890175,KB891711,KB871250,KB885835,KB885836,KB885881,KB883935,KB824151 After reboot servers, I got a Service Not Running error when I try to connect to Microsoft CRM. Then I tried to start the MSCRM Security Service (Log On as: Local System account) I get the following error: ERROR 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion. I have tried hint from MS support site: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;870167 Even option 3 do not work. When unregistering service I got error: Service unregistered! -2147467259 (0x80004005) Description: Unspecified error Unspecified error When registering service: C:\Program Files\Microsoft CRM\Server\bin>CrmSecurityService.exe -r -s I got error: Registration failed! -2147023824 (0x80070430) Description: The specified service has been marked for deletion.     - Some CRM interface features are broken I have just noticed that some of the navigation interface is broken in my installation of CRM.     - Test and Production Install on same server We are looking to install Microsoft CRM on our server. We would like to be able to install the demo database for testing and training purposes and then when ready install our live database. MBS Tech support is telling us that we can use the same SQL Server for the 2 databases but that you can't have the 2 Microsot CRM Server installs on the same server.     - MSDE Installation Fails with SFO Trying to install SFO (Version 1.2) and it fails when attempting to install MSDE. I get the follow error: "Set has failed because of an error.     - SFO causes High CPU utilization on SQL server This recently started happening, and I am not sure why. I loaded SFO on two new laptops and attempted to go offline with each. The SQL Server is also the same server running CRM 1.2. When the synch starts on the client the SQL/CRM server instantly spikes to 100% and stays that way as the SFO client never finishes the synch process.     - Emails in HELP DESK enviroment The clients in this case are people working inside the same organization (using the same exchange) and when they opened a case the main comunication between Help desk and them is by email. But those emails are arriving to OUTLOOK and NOT to the CRM!! How can we change that?? We want to relate those emails to the correct case. The actual process is: 1.     - Modifying Domain Logon name I added a user, but forgot to include the domain name infront of the user name. While CRM told me (after save & close) that the domain name must be entered, it still allowed the user to be created.     - Accounts, Cases, Teams + Sharing Issue All, I've noticed that If I share an Account (Account A) with a Team (Team A) then any Cases (Case A) where 'Account A' is the Customer of 'Case A 'are automatically shared with 'Team A' and cannot be unshared. This means that once an Account is shared, no 'User Level' or confidential Cases can be created for that Account, as they are always shared with 'Team A'. I unnistall CRM 1.0
When i attempt to reinstall CRM, select existing database.
In the next Windows appears this message:
"Microsoft CRM Setup could not find valid organization on chosen database.
You need to have at least one organization before installing MSCRM."

The server is Windows 2000 Advance+SP4, with Active Directory.
I not unnistall SQL, and the dataBases.

Help???

I am also experiencing the exact same issue. I uninstalled CRM and deleted
the associated OU.

"Microsoft CRM Setup could not find valid organization on chosen database.
You need to have at least one organization before installing MSCRM."

I am running Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
