    - SFO folder are missing hi I have a problem with the folders onder SFO voor outlook 2003. i can not see any of Account/ etc in my outlook. if i log on with my admin acount i have no problem at all. but with normal usrs i can not see this folders. i did add the addins from outlook extra menu en i did made the normale user the member of local admin of work staion but stil i can not see any of this folders. any help?     - Adding the same information to multiple contacts Hi, I'm wondering if it's possible to add the same information to multiple contacts at the same time. I want to add to a selection of contacts if they were present or absent at a seminar, so the secretary can send them a letter. I have looked but can't find this feature.     - .srf mapping - can't click 'ok' I have a problem installing the exchange email router and have followed the various suggestions all which lead me to adding the .srf mapping in IIS. The mapping is missing for whatever reason. When i try to add it manually, however, it just won't let me click on ok. I have checked and double checked the path to CRMISAPI.DLL but it wont accept it.     - sales standard process and the effect of manual probability changes Hi all, We use the sales standard process for our opportunities. Through the onChange Event (Javascript) the sales stage code affects the probability. E.g. (stages & probability) 00-Not Started - 0% 01-Contact - 5% 02-Initial Meeting - 10% etc. So if a user selects stage 01 from the sales stage code picklist the probability field gets the value of 5%. However, we've discovered that if a user first selects a stage and then MANUALLY changes the probability, the onChange Event no longer affects the probability. Is there a way to keep the onChange Event working, although a user has manually changed the probability once or twice (because the default probability for the stage was not appropriate)? Or does a one-time overrule means that the probability will stick to the applied value (although you'd expect it to change onwards along with the change of stage)? Thank you for replying.     - CRM can't start Outlook to import contacts. I am having a weird problem. I am trying to get CRM to import contacts that are in Business Contact Manager. When I try the import process and have CRM get them from BCM in Outlook, when it tries to start Outlook, it comes up with an error message that it could not start Outlook, it might not be installed.     - Page cannot be found; "you don't have sufficient security privilag I have remove and installed crm ans sql 3 times now. I keep getting to the same spot. When entering http://server I get the login server.domain\administrator. When I enter the password it comes back with Page cannot be found. when I try to run deployment manager and run add user wizard, I see the list of AD users but when I try to add a user to be a CRM user, I get the message of "you don't have sufficient security privilage to run the user manager...."     - Deployment tool cannot publish customization I've re-installed my CRM using existing databases on a website I created with port number 4000 (As prep for deploying CRM Mobile). Everything works fine except the deployment tool cannot publish customizations. I select the module to publish, try to add a CRM server to publish from and the deployment tool puts up a dialogue saying 'Looking for a CRM Server...' and then waits for ever. I've also noticed that the Workflow Manager and Monitor only find the server if I tell it to use the servername:portnumber rather than just the servername.     - Reassigning orders I have the following set up. Organization : business units (BU1) and (BU2) User1 belongs to BU1 and User2 belongs to BU2. The aim is to let User1 manage accounts and create orders and then assign the orders (after manual review) to User2. The constraint is, once the order is reassigned to User2, User1 should not be allowed to edit the order. I am trying to achieve this by following these steps: 1. Assign a role to User1 so that (s)he can update orders that belong to him/her only. 2. User1 logs in and creates an order. 3. User1 assigns the order to User2. 4. Admin logs in and removes User1 from the sharing list for the order. Thus, User2 now is the sole owner of the order. Now, User2 is able to access the order, which is what I want. But I am surprised to find that User1 can still modify the order. IS there any rule that creators of entities will always be able to edit it? Am I doing something wrong?     - Force Removing SFO Hi All, I installed SFO on my pc a while back. Since then I've changed domains and the old user account that I installed SFO with is gone. When I log on as an admin and try to remove it through Add/Remove programs it says I have to be logged on as the user that installed the program.     - SFO - router installation Hi All, We have a scenario where in we have 4 exchange servers present in the organization (all the 4 servers are in the same domain). Only one of these 4 have the ability to receive incoming mails from the internet whereas all 4 can send email to the internet. So all mails that come to the organization are routed through that specific Exchange Server.     - IE6 SP1 downloading problem Hello! I had FlashGet installed and uninstalled recently. After that, I noticed that when I click to download an .exe file, IE6 SP1 is not displaying the "Save to" window and I can see on the left bottom corner of the browser that it is silently opening the file. I opened registry editor to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Plugins\Extension\ and deleted the .exe key and restarted the computer. However, the problem is that the key is being recreating itself again and the problem persists.. Any ideas how can I fix this problem??? I looked around the internet and have not found any other case in which the key recreates itself..     - Workflow Manager Adaptations or Workarounds Hello, Does anybody know if there is a way to assign workflow rules to Teams rather than specific users? I have a very high turnover in my organization and the administrative efforts toward maintaining workflow rules and processes is brutal since all we have been able to find is the ability to attach rules base on specific user.     - Changing ownership of Accounts I need to change the owner of all accounts in CRM to one Generic user. The sales team is no longer using CRM and I want to free up their licenses. I am having a problem with the fact that I can not change the owner of an account with out it changing the owner of any open or existing cases or activities. Yes, you might want the owner to trickle down but it is my customer care groups that have all these open tickets,not the sales team. When I change ownership they loose their cases that they have been working on. I have several thousand customers to change with open cases and am having trouble coming up with a solution.     - transferring licenses between a family of companies company 1 bought too many sales pro licenses. company 2 needs more. Both cos are run by the same Board and owned by the same shareholders. I admin both implementations. We want new keys to reflect a new transfer of 12 sales pro licenses. We paid top price for close to 45 licenses. It seems I just need to find out the right way to present my issue to MBS or find the right person to take this up with. So far, I'm told this can't be done. I was under the impression that I could still use the API from something like a batch mode in addition to under the CRM umbrella.     - SFO data ownership and sharing data We have a client who's field sales force shares many of there contacts. If a contact needs to be shared between more than one Salesperson, can that contact be synchronized with their SFO? I understand that SFO synchronizes only the data you own, and only one user may own a record. But if a contact is assigned to a user, synchronized with SFO (go offline and then back online), and then the contact is reassigned to another user, will the original SFO user still synchronize with the contact they once owned? It's a copy of one of the canned pipeline reports that comes with CRM, with a date filter applied. Report has no parameters, just a filter. The report runs fine in Crystal.     - contract update/cases The following scenario: When I close a case, I fill in the actual duration time. The actual duration time is subtracted from the contract. Till so fore no problem. Sometimes we have to reopen the case. So the action close case is cancelled. But the time which we had calculated before doesn't return on the contract.     - Is there a "read-only" license for non-CRM users? Hi, i'm working in an organization with +- 30 people. Now I'm (trying to) implemend MS CRM for only a group of 10 people. Now is my problem ... all the data about customers will be stored in MS CRM like name, adress, email ..., but the other 20 people (mostly developers) needs this information so they can call and discuss problems with our clients. The only thing they want to see is the phonenumber or email (standard clientinformation) so they can communicate with them. I'm not going to buy 20 licenses for this groep which costs me $450,- per license. Is there some kind of "read-only" license which I can buy for this group? see only one item.
I miss the CRMPub_<org name>_MSCRM publication. The result is that the SFO
client has problems with going offline,
