When converting a quote to an order, the system is automatically locking the
prices by setting the "Prices locked" check-box. I need to be able to modify
the product lines at both the order and invoice stage (the prices locked flag
carries forwards to the invoice as well).

I have a number of generic items which are included as products on the order
(Installation time, delivery charges...) which effectively remain incomplete
until the final stages of the installation and I am ready to invoice the
customer. The price locking stops me from altering the existing product lines.

What are the conditions that cause the order to be marked as "Prices locked"
and what can I do to over-ride this setting?

Your help on this problem would be appreciated.

Thanks
Steve

In one of the menus on the form (I believe the actions menu) there is an
option 'use current pricing' this will reset the Prices locked field.
